Outdoor Adventure Club
Wednesday, July 15
3:00pm - 4:30pm
Eastside Branch
Program RoomFor tweens ages 9 to 13 years old.
About the Program
Get ready to explore the outdoors at Critter Creek. Each week, we’ll meet at the library and head out together to discover nearby creeks, ponds, and forests through guided activities, nature journaling, and hands‑on exploration. Inspired by forest school, this program encourages curiosity, confidence, and a sense of adventure. You’ll investigate nature up close, try new things, and may even spot local wildlife along the way.
Participants travel together as a group with staff and return to the library at the end of each session. Please dress for the weather and outdoor conditions - rain or shine. If severe weather occurs, the program will move indoors.
Attention Caregivers: When you register your child, you are giving permission for them to go off library property with staff as part of the program and engage in outdoor activities.
For tweens ages 9 to 13 years old. Please register each tween attending separately.
This program is part of a series. There are 4 sessions taking place on Wednesdays: July 15, 22, August 5 and 12. There is no program July 29.
We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.
Photography Notice: Please note that photographs and videos may be taken at this event and may be broadcast, reproduced, and/or made available in print or online. For individual or small group photos, staff will make attendees aware of their presence and will ask permission before taking photos.
