About the Program
Celebrate Disability Pride Month with an art program inspired by creativity, resilience, and self‑expression. We’ll begin by reading Unbound: The Life and Art of Judith Scott, then learn about Judith Scott’s remarkable story and her unique textile sculptures.
Judith Scott, a Deaf artist with Down syndrome, created powerful and widely celebrated works using yarn, fabric, and found materials. Her art reminds us that creativity has no limits.
After the story, participants will create their own yarn‑wrapped sculptures using a variety of materials. This program is open to people of all ages and abilities, and everyone is encouraged to explore their own style and ideas in a supportive, welcoming space.
We will do our best to accommodate accessibility needs so all participants can fully enjoy and take part.
Please register each person attending by using the blue "add more people" button in the registration form.
