About the Program
Take some intentional "me time" and join us for a relaxing evening designed to help you slow down and build the habit of making time for yourself (and maybe even reading more) this summer! We'll meet in the Auditorium for a short icebreaker, and then go on a light walk together to Waterloo Park. Once there, participants will be guided through two simple grounding techniques to help you feel present and centered.
The rest of the program is yours to enjoy: find a quiet spot, lay out your blanket, and spend an hour reading and relaxing. You’re welcome to bring dinner if it fits your schedule—light snacks will be provided. We'll walk back together before 8pm, however participants can leave at their own pace.
Don't have a book to read? Choose from the book display in the Auditorium or come earlier and browse our large selection.
This program is also being offered on August 25. Please register for each date separately.
