For Adults
This hands-on poetry writing workshop invites both first-time and experienced writers to explore their creativity with guidance from local poet R.K. Gandhi, author of the newly released Hope in the Black Hole. Participants will work through a variety of writing prompts and practical tips, then take part in a gentle breathwork exercise designed to support grounding, focus, and relaxation. Please bring a yoga or exercise mat if you have one.
This workshop takes place shortly after Ravi’s author talk and reading at the library - participants are welcome to attend the author event beforehand for added context and inspiration. Registration is required for both events.
Ravi K. Gandhi is a Canadian-Indian poet, writer, and educator, living in Ontario Canada. He regularly performs and speaks about the power of poetry in front of audiences.
