For tweens ages 8 to 12 years old.
Calling all Graphic Novel fans: we’re making an after-school reading space just for you! This fun program for tweens will help build literacy skills and give participants an opportunity to share in a structured environment to focus on reading. Optional prompts will be provided to encourage reading comprehension that builds upon the hour spent reading among peers. Participants will be able to discuss books amongst themselves, though there is no obligation to do so. Register to join your new favourite monthly reading hangout because, as we all know, How Many Nights A Week Should You Be Reading? 6-7!
Snacks will be provided.
For tweens ages 8-12. Please register each child attending separately.
Please note, a caregiver must remain in the library while children under 10 years of age attend a program.
