About the Program

Join guest speaker Anne Carruthers, an expert in children’s language development, for a fun and engaging session all about learning through play. Together, you and your child will enjoy stories and songs while discovering hands-on ways to support early language and learning at home. Explore helpful resources from KidsAbility and take away new ideas to make everyday play meaningful and fun.

We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements. 

Early Learning Programs for young children at WPL are based on literacy research and include tips and information for parents and caregivers. Your active participation in these programs will maximize the experience for you and your child. 

About Anne Carruthers

Anne Carruthers holds a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. She spent 35 years working with pre-school aged children before she retired, focusing on early speech and language development. She loves to talk and play.
