For Adults
Are you curious about playing the piano? This beginner‑friendly program is perfect for adults who have never played before and want to learn the basics. We’ll explore the piano keys, finger placement, simple scales, and how to play with both hands—plus learn a short song together.
This class moves at a steady, structured pace and is designed for adults who enjoy learning new skills step‑by‑step.
A dedicated Piano Basics for Older Adults program will also be offered in the coming months for those who prefer a learning environment tailored specifically for older adult participants.
Each participant will be loaned a WPL keyboard to take home for practice and should bring it to class each week.
Please note that while the instructor is an experienced piano player, they are not a certified teacher.
This program is part of a series running on Tuesdays: April 21, 28, and May 5. Since each session builds on the last and space is limited, we ask that you only register if you can attend all three weeks.
