For Older Adults
Join us for a special Seniors Social Club with ClimateActionWR! Climate change isn’t a distant issue - it’s already shaping communities across Waterloo Region. The good news is that there are many ways people can be part of the solution.
This engaging and interactive workshop is designed to help participants understand what climate change looks like locally, where most of our community’s emissions come from, and how everyday choices - from transportation to energy use - connect to broader regional climate goals.
This session encourages discussion, questions, and reflection, while sparking practical ideas for action that can be applied in daily life. Whether you’re new to climate topics or already involved in sustainability efforts, this workshop offers a space to learn, connect, and explore how collective action can help build a more sustainable future for Waterloo Region.
This drop-in program takes place at the Main Library on April 8 and May 6. Note that weekly Seniors Social Clubs are also available at our John M. Harper Branch and McCormick Branch.
