Led by WPL staff, the discussion pulls back the curtain on why certain books take off, which trends are driving popularity, and which publishing patterns are worth paying attention to. Expect plenty of recommendations, behind-the-scenes insight, and lots of ideas for your next great read.
If you love reading, discussing books, and discovering new titles, Book Chats is the perfect place for you. This series offers a welcoming space to explore a variety of genres, revisit old favourites, and hear fresh recommendations from fellow readers and WPL staff. Participate however feels comfortable - whether you read the suggested titles ahead of time and join the conversation, or simply listen and gather ideas for your next great read. Along the way, you’ll learn tips for finding books you’ll love, discover read-alike strategies, and explore special topics such as book awards and trending titles.
