Are you new to Canada or just starting to learn English? Join us at the English Corner, a relaxed and friendly space where you can practice speaking English, improve your listening skills, and build confidence through conversation. Each session includes simple activities, everyday topics, and helpful tips for life in a new country. Meet others from around the world and feel more at home.

Located on the west side of Waterloo, the John M. Harper Branch shares a building with the Stork Family YMCA. It features soaring ceilings, dedicated study space (including 3 bookable study rooms), a large Community Room and an outdoor courtyard.
