For Older Adults
Are you hoping to try something new and curious about playing the piano? This beginner-friendly program is perfect for those who have never played before and want to learn the basics. We’ll explore the piano keys, finger placement, scales, and how to play a few simple songs - all while building a community and supporting each other.
Each participant will be loaned a WPL keyboard to take home for practice and should bring it to the program each week. Please note that while the instructor is an experienced piano player, they are not a certified teacher.
This program is part of a a series taking place on Mondays: September 22, 29, October 6, and 20 (there is no program on October 13). Since each session builds on the last, we ask that you only register if you can attend all four weeks.
