Eastside Branch
Program RoomFor kids ages 3 to 4 years with a caregiver. This program is intended for children entering kindergarten in September 2026.
About the Program
We’ll make new friends and explore everything from letters and numbers to turn-taking and getting dressed for recess to help you feel ready for your new adventures in kindergarten. Please note parents/caregivers will be part of the learning process, but there may be times we ask parents/caregivers to leave the room for a short period of time to help children begin to transition to a classroom setting.
This program is intended for children who are entering kindergarten in September 2026. Transition to Kindergarten is offered multiple times through the year, and each child is eligible to register for one Transition to Kindergarten program series.
This program is part of a series. There are 4 sessions taking place on Thursdays: July 27, August 10, 17 and 24. There is no program on August 3.
Early Learning Programs for young children at WPL are based on literacy research and include tips and information for parents and caregivers. Your active participation in these programs will maximize the experience for you and your child.
We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.
