About the Program
This is a fun, baby-focused program that begins with a gentle storytime featuring music and movement in the program room, followed by outdoor water play in the courtyard. It’s a great way for little ones to enjoy stories, stay active, and cool off on warm days.
Don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, and a towel for your little one. Please note that this program is weather-dependent.
For babies ages birth to 14 months with a caregiver.
We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.
Early Learning Programs for young children at WPL are based on literacy research and include tips and information for parents and caregivers. Your active participation in these programs will maximize the experience for you and your child.

Located on the west side of Waterloo, the John M. Harper Branch shares a building with the Stork Family YMCA. It features soaring ceilings, dedicated study space (including 3 bookable study rooms), a large Community Room and an outdoor courtyard.
