For kids ages 6 to 9 years old.
Is your child curious about playing the piano? This beginner-friendly program is perfect for kids who have never played before and want to learn the basics! We’ll explore the piano keys, finger placement, scales, and how to play with both hands—plus, we’ll learn a simple song.
This program is part of a a series running on Mondays: April 28, May 5, 12, and 26 (there is no program on May 19). Since each session builds on the last, we ask that you only register if your child can attend all four weeks.
Each participant will be loaned a WPL keyboard to take home for practice and should bring it to class each week. Please note that while the instructor is an experienced piano player, they are not a certified teacher.
For kids ages 6 to 9 years old. Please register each child attending.
Please note, a caregiver must remain in the library while children under 10 years of age attend a program.
