Ages 6 to 9 years old.
Encourage a love of reading with this fun, interactive literacy program. Participants will pair up with a volunteer literacy tutor for guided reading sessions followed by language games and activities with the group.
Presented in partnership with United for Literacy.
For children ages 6 to 9 (grades 1-4). Please register each child attending.
This program is part of a series. There are 7 sessions taking place Saturdays: October 19 & 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30.
We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.

The McCormick Branch is nestled in the heart of the Lakeshore neighbourhood, providing exciting resources to its residents. The second oldest of Waterloo Public Library’s locations, the McCormick Branch is small but mighty and is part of the Albert McCormick Community Centre which features a large outdoor play area, splash pad and skate park.
