IN PERSON
Welcome to the world of Chromebooks. Chromebooks are a type of computer, manufactured by Google with a simple design that makes it a great computer for beginners. This program is for older adults without a computer who want to get online and learn the basics.
Participants will receive help in a 1-on-1 start-up appointment at the library before the program begins. Over 5 in-person sessions, we will cover basic skills like using a Chromebook, connecting to the internet, creating a Google account and checking email as well as making video calls.
Participants will be contacted by phone in May to confirm attendance and make a start-up appointment. Call 519-886-1310 ext. 129 to register or sign up online.
Registrants will receive an email from the programmer in advance to explain our safety protocols for in person programming. All participants will be required to self screen for COVID-19 symptoms before participating and should not attend if they are feeling unwell.
