For tweens ages 9 to 12 years old.
Discover the art of macramé in this creative, hands-on program for tweens. Participants will learn the basics of this versatile fiber art, which uses simple knotting techniques to create all kinds of cool designs. We’ll use a beginner-friendly pattern and show you how to turn cord into something beautiful. No experience needed, and all materials are provided.
For tweens ages 9 to12 years old. Please register each tween attending separately.
Please note, a caregiver must remain in the library while children under 10 years of age attend a program.
We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.

The McCormick Branch is nestled in the heart of the Lakeshore neighbourhood, providing exciting resources to its residents. The second oldest of Waterloo Public Library’s locations, the McCormick Branch is small but mighty and is part of the Albert McCormick Community Centre which features a large outdoor play area, splash pad and skate park.
