From Behind the Mask is a community art project to create a quilt made from our individual COVID-19 stories. This project is taking place across Waterloo Region with participants of all ages taking part.
Learn the basics of embroidery with artist Anna Humphrey to apply to your own quilt block. During the workshop, Anna will lead participants through an example project where they can learn and try out different stitches. Then, apply your new skills to your quilt block and submit your own story to the regional quilt project! Adults and teens welcome.
Registrants will receive an e-mail 24 hours before the start of the program with an invitation to join.
A supply kit will be available for pick-up at the library one week before the event. Please note, that you will need to supply your own scissors and an embroidery hoop that is 4" in diameter.
