Families with children ages 5 and up
Have fun exploring electricity and robotics with littleBits and Ozobots. We’ll provide the tech and inspiration to get started – you just need to be ready to explore.
About the Tech:
littleBits are easy-to-use electronic building blocks that snap together with magnets to make learning about circuitry exciting and engaging.
Ozobots are mini robots that use sensors to follow lines and read color codes that you make with markers and paper! You can make them change speed, direction or do cool moves.
For families with children ages 5 and up and their caregiver. Please register as a family, not individually.
We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.

The McCormick Branch is nestled in the heart of the Lakeshore neighbourhood, providing exciting resources to its residents. The second oldest of Waterloo Public Library’s locations, the McCormick Branch is small but mighty and is part of the Albert McCormick Community Centre which features a large outdoor play area, splash pad and skate park.
