IN PERSON, DROP IN
World Refugee Day (June 20) is an international day to honour the strength and courage of refugees. Bring your family and a blanket for an outdoor storytime celebrating diversity in Waterloo Region. We’ll share songs, stories and a craft on the lawn in front of the McCormick Branch.
For families with children of all ages.
Please note, in the event of bad weather, we’ll move inside to the Community Room.

The McCormick Branch is nestled in the heart of the Lakeshore neighbourhood, providing exciting resources to its residents. The second oldest of Waterloo Public Library’s locations, the McCormick Branch is small but mighty and is part of the Albert McCormick Community Centre which features a large outdoor play area, splash pad and skate park.
