Welcome to the world of Chromebooks. Chromebooks are a type of computer from Google with a simple design that is great for beginners. This program is for older adults who don’t own a computer and want to get online and learn the basics.
Participants will begin with a 1-on-1 start-up appointment, at the library, prior to the beginning of the program. (Participants will be contacted in May to set up this appointment.)
During the 4 in-person group sessions, we will cover basic skills like using a Chromebook, keyboard and mouse, connecting to the internet, creating a Google account and checking email.
Register online or call 519-886-1310 ext. 129 to speak to a staff member for more information.
