This program is designed for beginner coders with minimal experience or novices who wish to brush up on the basics. We will explore different types of code using various coding platforms such as Scratch, Tynker, and TinkerCAD. The theme for the activities this December is Winter Carnival.
Friday, December 9 - Ages 11 to 13 or Grades 6 to 8
Fast and the Flurrious: Ask any coder; it doesn’t matter if it’s in C++, Python or block coding; coding is coding. Have fun making a racing game in Scratch and learning about game design and coding.
Hosted by Engineering Science Quest from the University of Waterloo.
Registrants will receive an e-mail 24 hours before the start of the program with an invitation to join.
