Meet Faraz Abdul, the owner of Salon Ninety5 which opened this summer in Uptown Waterloo. Faraz worked hard to build his business for over 14 years and is open about his past struggles with drug addiction. Salon Ninety5 is not a commission-based salon – instead some of the area’s best estheticians rent chairs and operate independently. This beauty stop offers barber services, styling, colouring, skin care, botox, brow-shaping, spray tanning and more.
Bold Business is our newest program series that celebrates local business and entrepreneurship in Waterloo. This series is presented in partnership with the Uptown BIA. This session will be an interview and Q&A period lead by Tracy Van Kalsbeek of the BIA. Library staff will be available to share business resources available with a library membership.
The event will be hosted at Salon Ninety5, at 95 King St. South in Uptown Waterloo. Advance registration is required.
