Meet Faraz Abdul, the owner of Salon Ninety5 which opened this summer in Uptown Waterloo. Salon Ninety5 is a premium experience from start-to-finish with some of the best stylists, technicians and estheticians in Waterloo to help you look and feel your best. Faraz entered the industry 14 years ago and specializes in blonding, balayage and colour but it has been his dream to open a salon and to cultivate a passionate salon environment. Faraz will share the challenges with opening a business during the pandemic, working to create a tailored-feel in his salon and fostering a strong team.
Bold Business is our newest program series that celebrates local business and entrepreneurship in Waterloo. This series is presented in partnership with the Uptown BIA. This session will be an interview and Q&A period lead by Tracy Van Kalsbeek of the BIA. Library staff will be available to share business resources available with a library membership.
The event will be hosted at Salon Ninety5, at 95 King St. South in Uptown Waterloo. Advance registration is required.
