Do you know about the amazing research that is done at our local universities in early childhood development? CORAL is the Child Online Research Activities Lab at University of Waterloo and they have learned a lot about how young children acquire language, learn and process information about their world.
CORAL also studies how children develop many of the key skills they need as they enter school. This includes social development milestones like sharing resources with others, language skills for following instructions and asking questions, and cognitive skills like understanding numbers and probability. At this presentation we will be explaining what typical developments are happening in the preschool age and how to best prepare your little one for Kindergarten!
Presented in partnership with CORAL (Child Online Research Activities Lab).
Registrants will receive an e-mail 24 hours before the start of the program with an invitation to join.
