Approximately 7% of greenhouse gasses produced globally come from preventable food waste. Food that ends up in the landfill produces methane that is 21 times more potent than carbon dioxide. Proper composting can be a better solution, but many think it impractical for apartment living. Not so! Learn about different (smell free!) apartment composting options from two experienced practitioners: Shefaza Esmail from the University of Waterloo's School of Environment, Resources and Sustainability, and WPL's very own Christine Van Walraven.
