About the Open House
Visit the 1820 Log Cabin, where Waterloo first schoolhouse opened with winter lessons taught entirely in German. Discover how this humble one-room school transformed into a home for Black freedom seekers before becoming a beloved icon of Waterloo Park. Drop-in anytime during the duration of the open house to get a sneak peak and learn more.
