Robobuilders Family Workshop
March Break Program
Saturday, March 15
10:30am - 11:30am
Eastside Branch
Program RoomFor families with children ages 5+ and their caregiver.
About the Program
Spend the morning exploring fun tech with your family. We’ll provide the tech and inspiration to get started – you just need to be ready to explore.
Available Tech Will Include:
- littleBits - easy-to-use electronic building blocks that snap together with magnets to make learning about circuitry exciting and engaging.
- Ozobots - mini robots that use sensors to follow lines and read colour codes that you make with markers and paper! You can make them change speed, direction or do cool moves.
- Cubelets - the only way to build a robot where you build with a bunch of tiny robots. You can combine them to create all sorts of different robot constructions based on 3 basic categories: sense, think and act.
For families with children ages 5+ and their caregiver. Please register as a family and indicate the number of people in your group using the "guest" field.
We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements.
