About the Event

Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the lunar calendar and is celebrated with festive traditions and cultural festivities. Come and join the celebration on Lantern Festival Day, marking the final day of New Year festivities, with music, performances, crafts, and activities.

Presented in partnership with WCCA - Waterloo Region Chinese Canadian Association.

This is a drop-in event. Everyone is welcome.

This celebration will take place in Forbes Hall at RIM Park. Forbes Hall is on the 2nd Floor on the other end of the building from the Eastside Branch. If you need assistance finding the room please ask library staff or RIM Park staff when you arrive.
