Encourage confidence in reading skills in a comfortable environment with certified therapy dogs from St. John Ambulance.
Participants will be able to practice reading while supporting a love of literacy through games and activities with the group.
Presented in partnership with St. John Ambulance Kitchener-Waterloo Therapy Dogs.
For children ages 6 to 9 years (grades 1-4). We kindly remind you that registrations will be removed if the registered person does not meet the program’s specified age requirements
Please note, a caregiver must remain in the library while children under 10 years of age attend a program.

The McCormick Branch is nestled in the heart of the Lakeshore neighbourhood, providing exciting resources to its residents. The second oldest of Waterloo Public Library’s locations, the McCormick Branch is small but mighty and is part of the Albert McCormick Community Centre which features a large outdoor play area, splash pad and skate park.
