Join us to make rainbow macramé magnets and keychains! Have fun together in a safe and supportive environment for 2SLGBTQ+ children, families, and allies. This is a drop-in program.
Families Under the Rainbow, also known as Youth Under the Rainbow, is a 2-year project generously funded by a grant from the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation. This program seeks to support children and families' sense of belonging in the community. The goal is to help foster a safe and supportive environment for 2SLGBTQ+ children, their families, and their allies. This program is run in collaboration with several organizations including SPECTRUM, Waterloo Public Library, Region of Waterloo Public Libraries, Kitchener Public Library, Idea Exchange, and Artshine.
Families Under the Rainbow is a program presented in partnership with Spectrum Waterloo Region’s Rainbow Community Space.
