Older Adults

On the Table is an event organized by Waterloo Region Community Foundation (WRCF) to encourage community connection. Conversations take place across the community at different venues, organizations, and even homes.

WPL's Deputy CEO, Laura Dick, and Julia Gingrich, Manager, Programs & Partnerships invite you to join us at Waterloo Public Library for a conversation focused on your experience as older adults in our community. Share with us, and each other, your thoughts and ideas on how we can build belonging and wellbeing in our community. 

We’ll share together over coffee, tea and breakfast treats.

About the branch

Located on the west side of Waterloo, the John M. Harper Branch shares a building with the Stork Family YMCA. It features soaring ceilings, dedicated study space (including 3 bookable study rooms), a large Community Room and an outdoor courtyard.
